Semiconductor was founded in September 2005. A Series A funding round of $11
million was completed in January 2006, led by Accel Partners and Pond Venture
Partners. A Series B funding round of $20 million was completed in November
2007, led by SEP with participation from Accel Partners and Pond Venture Partners.

“A” round investments as well as later stage rounds, in financings
of up to $50 million. SEP has a strong focus on the semiconductor sector and
backed the two of the largest European semiconductor exits in the last five
years - Wolfson Microelectronics (LSE: WLF), which now has a valuation of $1bn
and Bluetooth specialist CSR (LSE: CSR), worth over $2 billion.
