Juan
Carlos Riveiro
President & CEO
Juan Carlos co-founded Gigle in September 2005, and is an acknowledged
industry expert and pioneer in the field of powerline communications. Prior
to Gigle, Juan Carlos was CTO and R&D Co-director of DS2, where he managed
the R&D team. Juan Carlos joined the DS2 organization in November 1998 and
led the creation of DS2’s 45Mbps product generation and 200Mbps product
generations. Previously Juan Carlos has held a development role at R&D Ladel
and undertaken a research project at UPC Digital Communication Group. Juan Carlos
is a vocal advocate of the creation and implementation of industry standards
and is a graduate of the Polytechnic University of Catalonia.







Richard
Irving
Non-executive director
Based in Silicon Valley, Richard co-founded Pond in 1997 and brings twenty-five
years' experience in venture capital, business management, marketing and engineering
in technology companies including AT&T Bell Labs, AMD, Brooktree, and Irving
International. Starting as a chip designer at Bell Labs, and strategic marketing
manager at AMD, Richard later managed three business units at Brooktree with
full P&L responsibility both prior to and following the company's IPO. These
grew from as small as $1M up to $90M. Richard has been involved in numerous
IPOs, acquisitions, and private financings and serves as Director of Transitive,
picoChip, Nanotech and Acco Semiconductor. Richard has a B.Sc. and M.Sc. in
Electrical Engineering from Manchester University.
Harry
Nelis
Non-executive director
Harry has been involved in technology startups and large technology companies
in Europe and the U.S.A. for almost 15 years. Prior to joining Accel, Harry
was at Perry Capital, an $8B hedge fund, where he focused on investments in
public technology companies. Prior to that, he was a member
of Goldman Sachs London-based technology investment banking team, advising leading
European technology companies on corporate finance and M&A transactions.
Previously, Harry spent almost a decade in Silicon Valley and was the technical
founder of Palo Alto-based E-motion. Harry holds an MS and PhD in Electrical
Engineering from Delft University of Technology and an MBA with distinction
from Harvard Business School.
Stuart
Paterson

director
Stuart
is a Partner at SEP, focusing on investments in communications and semiconductor
technology. Recent investments include Cambridge Silicon Radio (LSE: CSR),
picoChip Inc., Zinwave Inc. and Virtensys. His successes include a number
of flotations on the London Stock Exchange, and successful trade exits to
Cisco, Agilent and Rolls Royce. Over the last decade Stuart has led many successful
“A” round start-ups and a number of late stage deals with many
of the leading international venture capital firms. Stuart has a joint degree
in Accounting & Computing Science, a CA from his career at Ernst &
Young and has completed the Harvard Business School, Venture Capital Executive
programme.




Mark
Christensen

Mark
has served as a Director of Gigle from March 2007. From 1982 to 2005, Mark
was employed at Intel Corporation in a variety of engineering, management,
director and vice president positions, including Corporate Vice President
and Director of Communications Sectors for
Intel Capital. In that position, Mark was responsible for managing Intel Capital's
investments in mobile devices and communications infrastructure. In 2005,
Mark founded Global Capital Management, LLC, a consulting company for technology
startup companies. Mark holds a B.S. in Industrial Engineering from Oregon
State University and an MBA from the University of Oregon.
