Gigle is committed to the establishment and maintenance of open standards in home multimedia communications. To this end, Gigle is working actively with industry bodies and standards groups to promote agreement and early adoption of standards.

Gigle is a contributor member of the Homeplug Powerline Alliance and a participating member of the Home Gateway Initiative.

Gigle is an active member of the IEEE powerline communications standards initiative P1901, and the ITU SG15 G.hn imitative to develop an any-wire communications standard.
